Daniel Robert Niven Jr. 1954 - 1979 Resident of Danville Daniel Robert Niven Jr. of Danville, California died November 1979. He was found December 2006 in Mendocino, California. Dan was born on December 4th, 1954. Loving son of Daniel Robert Niven Sr. and Barbara Burr Boscarello. Dan served for the U.S. Marines and was awarded metals in marksmanship. He learned to be a diesel mechanic and vehicle repairman. Dan and his younger brother Mike were very close. Dan had the love for sports and writing. He would spend his summers and the last years of his life on the coast in Mendocino, California at the house of his grandmother, Dorothy Sanko. Survivors include his brother, Mike Niven, his wife Barbara Niven and their four children; brother, Darren Scott Niven and his wife Sara Niven and their four children; also his brother, Derrick Niven and his seven children. Memorial services will be held on August 2, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. at Sunset View Cemetery in El Cerrito, California. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the memory of Daniel R.
