Kim went  into the surgical tech program with my sister Susan. They spent a lot of time together giving each other support throughout the program. My sister had a respect for Kim and was amazed at her strength as she delt with medical issues.

Teri Kanellis (Fisi) (1974)

Kim and I were playmates when we were very young, we were neighbors. She taught me a lot about her condition and at 7years old she had to deal with quite a bit. Her parents worked and we would walk home from school together and she would always invite me in to talk with her Bird. She moved but we still went to the same schools. We had Girscouts together and still hung out once in a while. She was a very kind soul. I often thought about her through the years. When Nancy, Mary and I were putting the 25 year reunion together I tried to find her but could not so I'm glad this has surfaced now.
RIP Kim, your light was pretty bright ❤️
